Wine can only be enjoyed in moderation

A great line-up of professional sommeliers will be responsible for handling the wines for Robert Parker´s tasting and at the Official Dinner of Winefuture. Four prestigious sommeliers will lead the staff that will work at the event to guarantee it is professionally handled.
These four sommeliers are:
Bruno Murciano - Spain´s Best Sommelier of 2008
David Denton - Sommelier at Charlie Palmer in Washington
Fred Dexheimer - Master Sommelier
Maria Denton - General Manager for Ruth´s Chris Steak House in Washington
During Parker´s tasting, a group of 20 sommeliers will work under the direction of Kevin Zraly. This group of professionals will be responsible for setting up the tasting room for 535 tasters. Because 20 different wines will be presented, 10.700 tasting glasses will be provided by Riedel for the event. Their responsibility also includes opening and tasting 600 bottles to make sure they are in perfect shape. Each bottle will also be checked by Robert Parker and Kevin Zraly before the wines are poured.
During the Official Dinner, these four professional sommeliers will be responsible for the wine service. They will also introduce each wine to the 600 attendees that are confirmed to attend this event to close Winefuture-Rioja ´09.
